The Apache Pack
Snowy Mountain A vast snow-capped rise in the north of the Apache pack territory. It is assaulted by blizzards and coated by glaciers year round, no matter how high the summer temperatures climb. Not many come to the Mountain for reasons other than hunting, as most are too wary of an avalanche to chance a casual stroll through its snow fields. Moose and big horn sheep are plentiful here, and aren't often taken down by the wolves.
The Tundra The Tundra stretches out from the foothills of Snowy Mountain's base, and glistens with deep ice and snow during the winter months.Younger wolves find amusement in coming here and sliding down the short hills in the winter, whiles the ice coating over the snow is still strong enough to hold them before crashing into the deep drift. It is unwise to stay long though, as there is no cover from the screaming blizzards that rip over the Tundra from the mountains. However, this place becomes a haven full of prey during the summer, the snow receding and leaving fertile grass for big game in its wake. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Apache Dens The Apache Dens are located here. Pack Meetings will most likely take place here. So watch out!
Salmon River The main river of Spectra runs through the heart of Apache territory. It provides the wolves with precious fresh water and plentiful salmon to eat in the fall, though it comes with a dire price. They mus be wary when fishing, for they are not alone in their love of the fish. Grizzly bears are notorious for lurking near the shores to bar the wolves from sharing the river's bounty, and aren't easily chased away. Foolish wolves have lost their lives here, and are sure to be followed by more. The packs fought over this land for a long time, but the fighting has since lulled. For now. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Single Stone A large stone that rises far above the tundra and it's conifers. It acts as a place for wolves to come and howl to one another from great distances. Nobeast is quite sure how it came to be, but are happy enough for it to be there. The few wolves with companions in other packs will come here and call to them, and loners drift around it from time to time, but cannot call too loudly in fear of the Apache alpha discovering them. The Navajo Pack
Ghost Forest This forest was ravaged by wild fire years ago, but it never recovered from the blaze. Many animals, both wolves and their game, were killed in the fire, and it is said amongst the pack that their spirits still dwell here in misery and rage for the fate that fell upon them. Game stays away from the forest now, and the wolves keep good distance from the accursed place. The pack's youth often dares each other to go into the forest and bring something back, but the elders keep a keen eye on the border, ensuring that no Navajo wolves enter.
Lake Ember Lake Ember borders the Ghost forest and is fed by the Salmon River. Prey from all around gathers here as it is the main source of fresh water in Spectra save for the river. The lake earned its name for its strangely warm waters that are perfect for a relaxing soak after a long hunt or for aching joints. The Navajo pack hunts most of its game around the lake, as caribou, moose, and elk gather in mass for the sweet grasses that grow on its shores. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Glacial Ridge It is a treacherous climb to reach the summit of this cliff. It is easy to make a simple mistake here on the ice, where a slip of the paw could potentially cost you your life. If you manage to make it here unscathed, you'll be rewarded with a view of the entire Spectran tundra and even see to the Mountains if the snow isn't falling to hard, not to mention you kept your life. Unless you plan to somehow get back down from the ridge. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Rocky Plateau A steep rise in the surrounding land, the plateau makes a precarious perch for any beast. The stone is brittle and chips easily, making any crack a potential fatality. There are also deep gouges in it's sun-baked surface, that could easily trap and sprain or break an ankle or leg. Injure yourself up here and chances are you won't be back down for a while, if not at all. The vultures are the only friends you'll find here. Moderators: Argos, Validus

The Shoshone Pack
Deer Forest This forest gained its name from the hordes of deer that run through its undergrowth all year round. The flora isn't very thick for this reason, as the deer eat most of it away. Proving to make thin cover for the Shoshone wolves. Learning to successfully hunt here is an art, that requires the stealth to creep upon a herd of deer and strike one down without spooking the lot of them. Thorn bushes grow in an abundance here, blocking many paths that would have been useful for tracking down prey.
Lake Ember Lake Ember stretches into Shoshone territory as well as Navajo. Prey gathers in the masses around its shores, though there are more deer than anything else. It provides the Shoshone wolves with fresh water and even fish, if they can catch them that is. The animals here use its heated waters as well, always refreshing after a long day. The waters closest to the shore however, remain crisp and cool, the perfect drinking temperature. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Tundra Valley The Tundra slopes down into a vast valley in Shoshone territory, a small river branches off from Fire Lake and runs through the valley, providing sweet water for its inhabitants. It is by far the largest pack claimed piece of territory in all of Spectra, though it is never fought over as no wolf wants to go through the troubles of trekking through the deep snowbanks to brawl over this place. Moose and Caribou run rampant through here year round. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Small Forest Its name suits it well, it is a rather minuscule forest, though small game is plentiful here. There aren't many deer in the forest, as there is little food to support a large herd of them. It is on the opposite side of the Tundra Valley from the pack's main hunting grounds, though adolecents come here to hone their hunting skills before moving up to the big game that lives in the valley. Out of Pack Territory
Alphas' Court Eight massive stones encircle one. This is where the Alphas come and hold Trial on lone wolves or wolves that have done wrong to all three packs or just one. They are punished once all the Alphas have come to an agreement on what the punishment should be. These stones are housed in a small forest that has a large clearing should the trial have an audience, where the stones are set. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Old Shack An old abandoned home on the outskirts of the forest. It was inhabited by humans long ago, but many rogue lupines have found it a refuge for birthing their litters and a good shelter from the elements. Even if there are holes in the tattered roof, this place is still standing and will serve faes well until the day it finally comes crashing down. Hopefully nobeast will be inside when that day comes. Abandoned Bridge A rickety vine coated old wooden bridge constructed even before the old home that it leads to. It isn't a safe thing to pass over, though you'd have to face crossing a swift river crossing without it. Take care though, as one false move will snap one of the brittle boards land you in the river faster than you can howl for help. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Salmon Waterfall This roaring waterfall is the source of the Salmon River. It is a wondrous sight to see, the spray of water shooting down the steep cliff face into the river below. It isn't well known, but behind the sheet of crashing water lies a well sized cave, that loners have used as their homes for many generations. It is not reliable in the winter however, as the ice may block access to this small safe haven. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Hunter Forest A forest where humans still reign, and gunshots can be heard daily in the winter. Only the brave few that wish to find a nice bounty of fouls or those foolish enough to think they can run through here and live enter this forest. Even fewer return alive. The humans here harbor a special hatred of the wolves inhabiting the rest of this land. Don't stray here, as you may not come back. Moderators: Argos, Validus

Crimson Clearing The earth here reeks of blood. No wolf dares set its paw here unless seeking a fight, lest said paw be torn from its owner. Only the bravest or most foolish come here to settle their issues, though rarely on the clearing's outskirts can you find a friendly sparing match of adolescents. Death lurks here with a vengeance, waiting always to claim its next victim. Screams can be heard here year round, even when there is nobeast brawling. Their uneasy souls still remain to haunt the grounds where their bodies were slain. Moderators: Argos, Validus
